Launching of e-Work Permit Portal

LAUNCHING OF THE e-WORK PERMIT PORTAL   In the context of the implementation of the e-Work Permit System, the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment has launched the e-Work Permit Portal – workpermit.mu and the Online Applicant Registration on 30 September 2014. Prior to undertaking any transaction on the e-Work Permit Portal, Applicants are required to register on the Portal as follows:   STEP (1) – Fill in the Online Applicant Registration Form The Registration Form should be filled in after agreeing to the “Terms and Conditions” and selecting the Type of Applicant. Launching of www.mauritiusjobs.mu

www.mauritiusjobs.mu , is an interactive website aiming at addressing the present needs and exigencies of both jobseekers and employers. This website was launched on Wednesday 18 June 2014 by Honourable Minister Shakeel Mohamed, Minister of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment at Cyber Tower 1, Ebène. The website is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and is co-funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies of Italy. www.mauritiusjobs.mu will replace the existing website of the Ministry launched in 2007, which no longer satisfies the expectations of the various stakeholders.   In his ...
